2nd annual knights warrior run
april 4th, 2025

GAME KNIGHT BBQ flyer 2024 (8.5 x 11 in).png

What was the Warrior Run?
PTC created an unforgettable opportunity for all KNIGHTS to dash, jump, crawl, and conquer thrilling challenges on our custom obstacle course held on the lower campus field. The course was adapted for each grade level and brought action-packed fun to every student!

The Warrior Run was a huge success and we couldn't have done it without YOU! Thanks to the incredible support of our parents and community, we raised almost $30,000 to help support our school in big ways throughout the year.

From volunteering and cheering, to sharing and donating—your involvement made this event something truly special.

Classrooms brought the energy and competed for fun prize parties in a range of categories.

We’re already looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

Thank you again, Knights—YOU made it happen!

See ya in 2026!

Her Knight Paris 2025 (Real Estate Flyer).png

This event, previously known as "Father-Daughter," is designed to celebrate the special bond between female students and the important men in their lives. While the event’s original intention remains the same, we recognize and respect the diverse family dynamics of our students. Each entry includes a female student and a male figure in their life, if possible—this could be a father, uncle, brother, grandfather,

or another significant male role model.

We also understand that not all families have this structure. If a male chaperone is unavailable, we encourage you to bring any supportive chaperone of your choice. Our priority is to ensure your Knight can participate and enjoy this special evening.

Annual Knights Read-A-Thon- Kick raised over $15,000

Our Knights Read A Thon is a community-building fundraising event involving the participation of the entire student body. Students are sponsored by friends, family, and businesses for their participation. A safe and fun way to grow your imagination all while raising funds and building school community!

Proceeds are budgeted and distributed to items such as playground improvements, recess equipment, special assemblies, teacher “wish list” requests, after-school clubs, social event traditions, campus improvements, and so much more. Please visit www.ptcnewcastle.org /distribution for a detailed overview.

Our main goal this year is to provide a shaded getaway for students. Covered seating around campus is sure to add a great space to sit with a good book!

Obstacle Fun Run

The Fun Run was PTC’s main fundraising event of the year.  It is lucrative and community-building within our school as it involves the participation of the entire student body. Leading up to the Fun Run, students procure sponsorships from friends, family, and businesses for their participation in an Obstacle Course.   Held on lower campus during the school day, class-by-class students run the course, including inflatables, tires, tubes, and more. The students and spectators have a blast while raising funds and building the school community!  The 2019 Fun Run was held on October 18th.  The event raised over $32,000.00. The Newcastle PTC has not transitioned to the Annual Color Run in leui of the Fun Run.

PTC Co-Sponsored Events

Field Day and End of Year BBQ

Every year PTC sponsors a day of fun for the whole school. Held on the track & and field area students enjoy a DJ, field day games, lunches, treats & and more!  PTC provides organization, volunteers, and supplies for the event. Look for the sign-up in May of each year to help!

Annual Scholastic Book Fair

The yearly Scholastic Book Fair is held in the fall each year. Initial planning is done by NECS staff and the school library. PTC offers volunteer staffing for set up, the week of the fair, and clean up.

In 2024 we raised over $7000 for our school and individual classroom libraries. We couldn't do it without the support of our Knigth Families!
